COAD patients who fell within the high-risk group (prognostic predictor > 2.3) consisted of a large portion of the STIM1 overexpression group (87.5%, 14 of 16), whereas the low-risk group consisted of a larger number of the STIM1 low-expression group (61.7%, 29 of 47) (approximate Pearson's Chi-squared p = 0.001, Figure 5D).
