The initial NT-proBNP levels in invasively treated patients were lower than in the patients receiving conservative treatment who were tested in the first day of hospitalization within 48 hours from the onset of myocardial infarction pain (5922 ± 10250 pg/mL versus 8718 ± 12024 pg/mL, p < 0.0002).
