Kuang and Wang reported that, in ApoE−/− atherosclerosis mice model fed with high-fat diet, the level of NF-κB was significantly increased and exhibited a positive correlation with inflammation [36], and the results in our study showed that the expression of NF-κB was significantly decreased in the ApoE−/− + lipitor group and ApoE−/− + CCC high group as compared with the model group. Here, NFKB1 is linked to atherosclerosis.
