In addition, the same alternations were observed in OA-treated siRNA PASK HepG2 cells (Figure 5), indicating that PASK participated in lipid metabolism, and therefore PASK might be a potential therapeutic target for ameliorating hepatic lipid accumulation, and even could be an effective treatment for NAFLD and other MS accompanied with lipid accumulation or obesity.
