FJX1 and cancer: Although the precise function of FJX1 in human remains unclear, studies carried out using model systems of different species suggests that FJX1 may play key roles in cancer related pathways including Fat and Dachsous [25], Hippo-YAP [26], Notch [27–28] and JAK/STAT signaling [29], pointing to the possibility of the involvement of FJX1 in human carcinogenesis.
