As the silencing of ATM/p65, IL-6, MMP-3/MMP-13 efficiently abrogated ATM phosphorylation (Supplementary Figure S7) and gene expression (Supplementary Figure S8), the above observations demonstrate that high level of ATM phosphorylation contributes to IL-6 correlating MMP-3/MMP-13 expression and lung cancer metastasis in vivo. The gene discussed is ATM; the disease is lung carcinoma.
