CCND1 and neoplasm: We further detected the effect of TNF-α on tumor growth and Wnt/β-catenin signaling activity in HCT-116 cells (this cell line shows low Wnt/β-catenin signaling activity) and found that TNF-α significantly induced cell proliferation (Fig. 4d) and promoted the activation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling by inhibiting the expression of E-cadherin and up-regulating the expression of β-catenin and cyclin D1 (Fig. 4e).
