In recent years, adoptive immunotherapy for HCC has been limited to using autologous T cells and dendritic cells (DC) from the PBMCs of patients, including cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells, DC vaccination, and tumor-associated antigen glypican-3 (GPC3) –derived d peptide-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) [32, 33]. The gene discussed is GPC3; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
