The MTT assay results (Figure 3B) showed that over-expression of AKT2 and AKT3 enhanced cellular proliferation in the A2780 and SKOV3 ovarian cancer cell lines, while simultaneous over-expression of miR-29b and AKT2/3 led to no statistically significant change in cellular proliferation. This evidence concerns the gene AKT3 and ovarian carcinoma.
