Overexpression of HSF1 was observed in a broad range of cancer cell lines and human tumors including colorectal cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer [9], hepatocellular carcinoma [10], endometrial carcinoma [11], oral squamous cell carcinoma [12], glioma [13], melanoma [14] and multiple myeloma [15]. Here, HSF1 is linked to lung carcinoma.
