After dividing the 157 CN-AML patients into subgroups based the mutation status of FLT3, NPM1 or CEBPA (GEO No: GSE6891) (Figure 1C), ATP1B1 showed significantly higher expression in samples with FLT3-ITD (n = 66) than without FLT3-ITD (n = 91) (p < 0.001). The gene discussed is ATP1B1; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
