For Cav2.2 inhibition studies, SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells that endogenously express human Cav2.2 channels in a physiologically relevant context, are briefly incubated with varying concentrations of the compounds of interest, in the presence of saturating concentrations of the L-type calcium channel blocker nifedipine. This evidence concerns the gene CACNA1B and neuroblastoma.
