It is a multi-domain protein that is structurally segmented into leucine-zipper domain (LZ) at the carboxyl terminal region, two nuclear localization sequences (NLS1, NLS2), a nuclear export sequence (El-Guendy et al., 2003) and a unique SAC (Selective for Apoptosis of Cancer Cells) domain including the NLS2 domain (Hebbar et al., 2012).
