The clinical data analysis revealed significant differences between untreated TB patients and controls in levels of the following (P < 0.05): total protein, albumin, globulin, albumin/globulin, total cholesterol, triglyceride, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), lipoprotein (a), apolipoprotein A1 (APOA1), apolipoprotein B (APOB), C-reactive protein, prealbumin, IgG, IgA, IgM, and complement 4. Here, CRP is linked to tuberculosis.
