We found that EGF stimulation substantially increases phosphorylated EGFR in the mitochondria in A549 and H1299 lung cancer cells (Figure 1D; the internal control was presented in Supplementary Figure S1C, implying that the phosphorylated EGFR may translocate from the cell surface to the mitochondria through endocytosis.
