NRIP1 and breast cancer: To test this hypothesis, we investigated the specific role of NRIP1 in breast cancer growth and development using a 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA)–induced mouse cancer model using female wildtype (n = 32) and Nrip1 deficient mice (n = 9), including both heterozygous (n = 7) and homozygous knockouts (n = 2).
