The LR model including miR-92a and miR-486 serum levels with adjustment for age, gender, together with some serum lipids and apolipoproteins levels (HDL-C/LDL-C, apoA-I, apoE) and HDL-associated enzyme activity (PON1) as covariates resulted in a significant designation of vulnerable CAD patients with an accuracy of 84% (p = 0.010). Here, PON1 is linked to coronary artery disorder.
