In univariate analysis, we found 17 significant genes, located on 3p14.1, 3q13.2, 17q12, and 18q22.1 (Fig 1d); these genes included cancer-related genes, such as FOXP1, GRB7, and NFATC1, indicating that altered expression of specific genes through CNAs could influence the clinical course of patients. This evidence concerns the gene FOXP1 and cancer.
