Furthermore, in the multivariate survival analysis, GIT1 expression was found to be a strong, independent prognostic predictor of reduced overall survival (OS) (hazard ratio [HR] = 2.35; 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.46–3.79; P < 0.001) and reduced disease-free survival (DFS) (hazard ratio [HR] = 2.03; 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.27–3.26; P = 0.003) in NSCLC patients (Figure 1g and Supplementary Table S2).
