We observed a significant knockdown of MAP3K8 protein in both shMAP3K8_1 and shMAP3K8_2 stable cell lines (Fig. 2d, left panels; for the original blots, please see Supplementary Fig. 8A), although we never reached a complete inhibition of MAP3K8, most probably because this would be toxic for ovarian cancer cells. The gene discussed is MAP3K8; the disease is ovarian cancer.
