Thus, we chose to score IGF1R in accordance with the scoring of HER2 in breast cancer and then grouped the negative scores (complete absence of membrane staining or the presence of weak membrane staining in less than 10 % of the cells) and 1+ (incomplete membrane staining in more than 10 % of the cells), compared with the positive scores 2+ (complete and weak to moderate membrane staining in more than 10 % of the cells) and 3+ (complete and intense membrane staining in more than 10 % of the cells) as Shin et al. previously did in human breast cancer [19].
