An increase of one unit (1 pg/mL) of the IL-1α concentration resulted in 8% increased risk of the liver cirrhosis, an increase of one unit (1 pg/mL) of IL-6 concentration implicated about 5% increased risk, and an increase of one unit (1 pg/mL) of HGF implicated 3% increased risk of liver cirrhosis. This evidence concerns the gene HGF and cirrhosis of liver.
