Our findings suggest that CD24 can be a promising target, especially in the HER2 or TNBC subtype of breast cancer, and targeting CD24 in combination with HER2-targeted therapy or chemotherapy may more effectively treat patients than HER2-targeted therapy or chemotherapy alone, further suggesting the effectiveness of CD24-targeted therapy in the treatment of patients resistant to conventional therapies.
