KLRB1 and peeling skin syndrome: CD4+CD25+CD161+ T cells, the regulatory subset of CD4+CD161+ T cells, significantly increased in pSS patients and the ratio of IL-17-producing cells of this subset was much higher than that in the overall CD4+CD161+ T cells (14.15 ± 7.95% versus 5.76 ± 2.21%, p = 0.034) and CD4+CD25−CD161+ subset (14.15 ± 7.95% versus 5.52 ± 2.28%, p = 0.032), which might implicate that abnormal Treg functions could take place in pSS.
