To determine whether provision of IL-2 would restore homeostatic ratios of Tregs and Tconvs in the tumor, we injected tumor-bearing mice with anti-IL-2/IL-2 complexes (S4B6-1-IL-2 which binds CD122, stimulating both Tregs and Tconvs) [23] which resulted in a significant increase in proliferation of Tregs and Tconvs in lymphoid tissues but not the tumor (Figure 3B).
