High numbers of PD-L1+ cells were found in 5 out of 8 LN+, while in the remaining three LN+, minimal to moderate numbers of PD-L1+ cells were observed (Figure 4C), but this could be due to the fact that two of these LN+ had micro-metastases and one LN+ consisted almost entirely of metastatic tumor cells.
