In contrast, for HLA-DR+- and PD-L1+ myeloid cells, significant differences were found both between LN+ and LN−* (P = 0.002 for HLA-DR and for PD-L1) and between LN+ and LN− (for both P < 0.001), but not between LN−* and LN− (Figure 5D, 5E), revealing a more strict tumor-associated recruitment of potentially suppressive PD-L1+ myeloid cells.
