TAGLN and breast cancer: Receiver-operator characteristics (ROC) analyses of TAGLN promoter methylation showed that a threshold of NAMS >60.94, which was derived from the ROC analysis itself, could discriminate healthy individuals from breast cancer patients, with 83.14 % sensitivity and 100 % specificity (area under the curve (AUC) = 0.9289, and 95 % confidence interval (CI): 0.9027 to 0.9552, P < 0.0001, Fig. 4c).
