The far-Western blotting analysis of the resulting lipid raft fractions (isolated from CD3/CD28-activated CD4+ T cells during 48 h) showed a marked reactivity of ALL on two bands from fraction 7 (Fig. 4a, middle panel), which were also recognized by the cholera toxin B subunit (Fig. 4a, lower panel). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
