The synergetic suppressive effect of AG1478 and verteporfin on the growth of ME180-YAP and ME180-YAPS127A cells and secretion of AREG clearly indicates that combined targeting of Hippo/YAP and EGFR pathways may represent a novel therapeutic strategy for cervical cancer (Figs8 and EV5). This evidence concerns the gene AREG and cervical carcinoma.
