Although it is not clear at present whether the effect of NF-kB inhibition on HuR is involved, a recent study has described that GL63 (a COX-2 inhibiting curcumin analog which closely resembles EF24) reduces the cytoplasmic localization and protein abundance of HuR in lung cancer H460 cells [39].
