A few studies have identified alterations in KRAS in ACC [7, 12, 13], and KRAS alterations were reported to be more common than other gene alterations, with the exception of MYB, in a recent study [12]; however, KRAS mutations were absent in other studies that involved whole exome sequencing of ACC [16] and next-generation sequencing [15]. Here, KRAS is linked to adrenal cortex carcinoma.
