In a study of Feng et al. [21] the DNA methylation status of reversion-induced LIM protein (RIL), high in normal-1 (HIN-1), RASSF1A and cadherin-13 (CDH13) in normal-appearing tissue (located at least 3 cm away from the tumor) was found to correlate with that in the breast tumor. The gene discussed is RASSF1; the disease is neoplasm.
