NFKB1 and cancer: The result confirmed that NF-κB was significantly activated in p53−/− cells, accompany with the down-regulation of epithelial marker E-cadherin and the up-regulation of mesenchymal markers N-cadherin, Vimentin and Fascin, indicating that p53 deletion activated NF-κB signaling pathway and triggered EMT transition which facilitated cancer cell invasion and migration.
