To analyze the clinical significance of DDR2 in HCC, we detected the DDR2 expression in 112 pairs of HCC and matched tumor-adjacent samples using qRT-PCR and Western blotting, and found that DDR2 expression was prominently higher in the HCC samples than that in the noncancerous samples (P < 0.01, respectively, Fig. 1c-d).
