MAPK9 and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Consistent with other reports [34, 35], we found that activation of SAPK/JNK, a family member of MAPK, mediated the effect of UA on inhibition of DNMT1, one of the DNA methyltransferases [36], EZH2, the core subunit of polycomb repressive complex 2 [16, 37], and growth of NSCLC cells.
