Analysis of Mek induction and inhibition in BCP-ALL samples using phospho-flow had not been reported and our study is thus the first to show that changes in pErk1/2 can be reproducibly detected using this method, if the ALL cells initially contained biologically relevant (i.e., other than through artificial PMA stimulation) levels of pErk1/2. This evidence concerns the gene MAP2K7 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
