Statistical analyses showed that overall (p < 0.0005; Mann–Whitney) but also in each sample (p < 0.0005; paired sample t test) the pixel count for tumor-infiltrating CD45+ cells was higher than that of Tbet+ cells and that of Foxp3+ cells, indicating that these two functional cell types were not the only types of immune cells infiltrating the tumor. This evidence concerns the gene FOXP3 and neoplasm.
