The immunophenotype of tumor cells in the present case consisting in Bcl2, CD99, and progesterone-receptor positivity and with very focal expression of smooth-muscle-actin, CD31, and CD34 was suggestive for a meningeal hemangiopericytoma rather than for an extracranial hemangiopericytoma/solitary fibrous tumor-type lesion [6]. The gene discussed is CD99; the disease is neoplasm.
