The finding could explain the presenceof phosphorylated LYN and SYK seen in CLL cells, although it does not appear toaccount for clinical differences between M-CLL and U-CLL (Duhren-von Minden et al.2012) or for the lack of CLL cellproliferation in the absence of external BCR stimulation (Hoogeboom et al.2013). This evidence concerns the gene BCR and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
