VEGFA and breast cancer: The findings of our work are in accordance with recent literature in human breast cancer [39] and in CMT [2, 10, 11] suggesting that CD3+ T-lymphocyte cytokines in mammary tumor sites may stimulate angiogenesis through the induction of proangiogenic factors as VEGF that contribute to new blood vessel formation from preexisting ones and are implicated in mammary tumor aggressiveness and shorter OS times.
