As B cell epitopes we chose three promising presumably Alzheimer’s disease-specific double phosphorylated neoepitopes of the tau protein, namely Tau199–208[pS202/pT205], Tau209–217[pT212/pS214], and Tau229–237[pT231/pS235], which were also used by others but in a different setup [14,26]. Here, MAPT is linked to early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
