The levels of all eight molecules were significantly higher in the T1D patients with DR as compared to T1D patients with no complications: sTNFR-I (1.30-fold), sTNFR-II (1.27-fold), CRP (1.53-fold), SAA (1.33-fold), sgp130 (1.14-fold), sIL6R (1.08-fold), sVCAM1 (1.11-fold), and sICAM1 (1.19-fold) as shown in Figure 1.
