Lastly, Mansuet-Lupo et al. [30] (Table 1) analysed 10 primary tumours and corresponding lymph node (n = 8) or pleural metastases (n = 2) of French patients, and found EGFR mutation status concordance to be 90 % (9/10); the discordant result was obtained from a metastatic lymph node containing <15 % tumour cells, and an EGFR mutation corresponding to the primary tumour was subsequently identified in another lymph node from this patient, resulting in 100 % concordance.
