To evaluate whether the TEL2 / SERPINE1 axis revealed in the cell culture and animal model was clinically relevant, we performed immunohistochmeistry staining for TEL2 and SERPINE1 in the 138 clinical NPC samples (Supplementary Table 2), and analyzed the correlations between the expression of TEL2 and/or SERPINE1 with clinicopathologic characteristics. Here, SERPINE1 is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
