ACE and Stroke: Following discharge, AMI patients were more frequently treated with aspirin (99% vs. 78%; P< 0.001), clopidogrel (95% vs. 24%; P< 0.001), beta-blockers (85% vs. 6%; P< 0.001), and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (63% vs. 30%, P< 0.001) or angiotensin receptor blockers (26% vs. 14%, P = 0.09) than patients with strokes.
