NCAM+ interstitial cells were detected in 100% of MesPGN, 76.0% of LN, 69.2% of MGN, 62.5% of MPGN, 61.1% of FSGS, 50% of IgA nephropathy, 33.3% of renal grafts, 25% of RPGN, while NCAM+ interstitial cells were not detected in 4 cases of minimal change disease (Fig 1A). This evidence concerns the gene NCAM1 and rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis.
