SEMA3F and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: A very recent study by the Gutkind's group has demonstrated that (1) loss of SEMA3F is a frequent event in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC), which correlates with increased tumor vascularity and metastasis, (2) SEMA3F requires NRP2 to promote LEC collapse, and (3) SEMA3F re-expression diminishes lymphangiogenesis and lymph node metastasis (Doci et al., 2015).
