Noguchi et al. examined the concentrations of CSF-t-tau, CSF-p-tau, and CSF-Aβ42 in patients with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and corticobasal degeneration (CBD); the concentrations of CSF-t-tau and CSF-p-tau did not significantly differ between PSP, CBD, and controls, and the concentration of CSF-Aβ42 was significantly lower in PSP and CBD than in controls. This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and red-green color blindness.
