A significant decrease (P = 0.002) of IL-6 was found between sepsis (650 ± 989 pg/ml) and bacteremia (39.63 ± 58.58 pg/ml), as well as between sepsis and viremia (17.47 ± 22.40 pg/ml; P = 0.002). This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and bacterial infectious disease with sepsis.
