The comparison of IL-1β values for sepsis (1.7 ± 1.21 pg/ml) and bacteremia (0.3 ± 0.27 pg/ml; P = 0.125), sepsis and viremia (0.4 ± 0.39 pg/ml; P = 0.062), sepsis and fungemia (0.3 ± 0.29 pg/ml; P = 0.125), bacteremia and viremia (P = 0.843), bacteremia and fungemia (P = 0.625), and viremia and fungemia (P = 0.875) showed no significance after Bonferroni correction (adjusted α = 0.0083) (Fig. 1).
