Analysis of the ability of Treg cells to suppress monocyte‐derived cytokines/chemokines revealed no consistent differences between RA patients and healthy controls with regard to the suppression of TNF, IL‐6, IL‐8, IL‐12, IL‐15, and CCL5, although suppression seemed reduced in some patients. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL8 and rheumatoid arthritis.
